Hiking Lake Twenty Two

After going a little stir crazy, Buddy & I decided to get out of the house for a day.

We drove up to Arlington out into the country. It was BEAUTIFUL! Oh how I miss views of empty fields of grass & farms! We stopped at Fosters Produce; a farm with fresh fruits & veggies. I was planning on walking around but there was a no dogs rule -_- So I only went inside to look around & ask about pickling cucumbers and then Buddy and I made our way down the road.

We drove to Granite Falls, WA & headed up Mountain Loop Road to a hike I wanted to go on.

Lake Twenty Two was a 5.4 mile hike with 1500ft. elevation gain.

Every tiny bit of this hike was beautiful! It was beyond refreshing to get out into the mountains!

It became a bit intense towards the end. Nothing we couldn't handle though :)

And then we walked upon THIS! I was stunned.

We hung out for about an hour and a half, reading my book and relaxing in the silence of the mountains

He went swimming & I would have if I would have brought flip flops!

And then we headed back home

LOVED this hike! So worth every drop of sweat :) I can't wait to do it again when Jesse can come with
