Seattle Area Did It List!

Alki Beach- Beautiful view of Seattle from across the sound

Urban City Coffee House- This place is right down the road from my house and right after we moved here it was my only go to spot while Jesse was at work! Good coffee but I have found better with time.

Golden Gardens Beach Park- Great beach park for having a campfire at or playing sand volleyball at in the summer. Also an incredible view of the Olympic peninsula mountain range.

Went searching for the Sleepless in Seattle houseboat and failed... it was the attempt that matters... lol

Visited the Disney Up House

Visited the Troll Bridge

Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream- The best ice cream in Seattle and they have fun flavors such as honey lavender and balsamic strawberry. My personal favorite is the scout mint!

Kerry Park- One of the best views of the Seattle Skyline.

Hiroki bakery/coffee- Delicious matcha here!

Espresso Break- My current go to coffee stop! Yummy white mocha's!

Seattle Float tank- Fun one time experience but too expensive to do over and over.

Mukilteo Lighthouse Beach

Leaveneworth- 100 miles east of Seattle. Highway 2 is a phenomenal drive and the town of Leavenworth is beyond cool! It's a cute littlle Bavarian Village and at Christmas time, downtown has over a million lights!

Steven's Pass- A great Ski/snowboard resort.

Edmonds Beach- Another great beach!

Vertical World Rock Climbing Gym- Our gym we go to regularly to climb at. It has 70ft. climbing walls.

Slate Roasters Coffee- Expensive high class espresso and so worth every penny!

Carkeek Beach Park- Beautiful beach park with another fantastic view of the Olympic peninsula mountain range.

Snoqualmie Falls- Beautiful waterfall!

Ray's Cafe- Very yummy clam chowder and some of the best bread!

Citizen- The best breakfast cafe with delicious vanilla lattes!

Alive Juice Bar- Jesse and I have been juicing regularly for a couple months now. While we usually make it at home with our juicer, we found this juice bar right around the corner from our house and its become a Saturday morning favorite for us. They made some of the best fresh veggie juice I've had.

This list is making me realize I need to stop complaining about the city and go explore more of it while I live here! All the traffic and herds of people aren't exactly my thing on top of the fact that I don't accept change very easily so if I'm being honest, I have done a lot of complaining about living here; but after being here for 7 months now, I have began to see more of the beauty in it and I have decided that I am going to go explore more like I usually do and embrace the time that I have in this beautiful big city!
It's time I watch this list grow as I stretch out of my small town comfort zone!

Since I have written the list above:

Hiked/walked around Discovery Park- This has become my new favorite place to hike around! When we lived in Klamath Falls, Jesse and I use to walk around Moore Park all the time. Since we have moved, that is one of the things I miss both so I'm thrilled to have found something similar. It's about a 20 minute walk down to the beach (providing you don't get lost like I did) and once you get there, you have stunning views of the Olympic Peninsula Mountain range.

Umbria Caffe- This very cute little cafe might just have the best vanilla latte that I have ever had!

Beechers Handmade Cheese- I had been told that this place has the BEST macaroni and cheese multiple times so when I was in Pikes Place with my sister the other day I had to try it. It was definitely delicious but quite possible a heart attack in a bowl ;)

Pikes Pit BAR-B-QUE- Some of the best BBQ food I've had in a while. I recommend their hot link sandwich.

Richmond Beach Saltwater Park- The closest beach park to our house and we just found it the other day. It's one of my new favorites because they have a (legal) off-leash dog area.

Ballard Locks- Fun area to walk around.
