Thors Well, Oregon

I spent a week in Oregon this July for a photography job
and while I was there, I wanted to check out a few Oregon specials.
Thursday, Macy and I hopped in the car and took off for the Oregon coast to
Thors Well.

Thor's Well is a hole in the rocks that only appears to drain water from the ocean.
The site is most spectacular at high tide, or during storms when water
washes violently over the rocks and funnels into the hole.

Today was a sunny day and we stayed until almost high tide
so we were able to watch the water wash in.
We also saw a humpback whale and a seal in the waves of the background!
It was so beautiful!
I can't wait to go back and maybe if I'm lucky I will catch an awesome Oregon Coast storm!

Goal: Camp here and stay near Thors Well as the sun sets behind it and the tide comes in
