HAPPY FIRST DAY OF FALL!!
Fall is officially here! Instead of fighting summer ending, it is time to embrace the new season and start making a fun list of things to do this Fall! As long as the nice weather sticks around, I will be busting out as many hikes as I possibly can fit into my busy life!
- Make lots and lots of pies
- Canning:
- Salsa
- Pickles
- Jam
- Peaches
- Bake cookies
- Bake Banana Bread
- Bake Zucchini Bread with our fresh from the garden zucchini
- Go to the pumpkin patch
- Carve pumpkins
- Decorate front porch
- Backyard Bonfires
- Star Gazing at Mt. Baker- and if we're lucky, the Northern Lights will show too!
- Create a thankful tree
- Scrapbook
- Make homemade chili and watch movies
- Apple picking at a local orchard
- Visit Whistler
- Have a weekend getaway at a bed & breakfast
- Make a fall time wreath to hang on the front door
- Drink Apple Cider- just because it has to be on the list ;)
- Take a foggy morning walk
- Read a book by the wood stove
- Fly kites on the beach
- Volleyball intramural- yes, this is really happening!
- Walk through a corn maze
- Watch a movie at blue fox drive-in movie theater in Oak Harbor
- Sweater shopping
- Fall time camping- Palouse Falls
- Haunted swamp at Carlton farm--- maybe!
