Fall into the Season


HAPPY FIRST DAY OF FALL!! 

Fall is officially here! Instead of fighting summer ending, it is time to embrace the new season and start making a fun list of things to do this Fall! As long as the nice weather sticks around, I will be busting out as many hikes as I possibly can fit into my busy life! 


  • Make lots and lots of pies
  • Canning:

    • Salsa
    • Pickles 
    • Jam 
    • Peaches
  • Bake cookies 
  • Bake Banana Bread 
  • Bake Zucchini Bread with our fresh from the garden zucchini 
  • Go to the pumpkin patch
  • Carve pumpkins
  • Decorate front porch
  • Backyard Bonfires
  • Star Gazing at Mt. Baker- and if we're lucky, the Northern Lights will show too! 
  • Create a thankful tree
  • Scrapbook 
  • Make homemade chili and watch movies 
  • Apple picking at a local orchard
  • Visit Whistler 
  • Have a weekend getaway at a bed & breakfast
  • Make a fall time wreath to hang on the front door
  • Drink Apple Cider- just because it has to be on the list ;) 
  • Take a foggy morning walk 
  • Read a book by the wood stove 
  • Fly kites on the beach
  • Volleyball intramural- yes, this is really happening! 
  • Walk through a corn maze
  • Watch a movie at blue fox drive-in movie theater in Oak Harbor
  • Sweater shopping 
  • Fall time camping- Palouse Falls 
  • Haunted swamp at Carlton farm--- maybe!
