Cherry Creek Falls Hike

a girl can only work on school for so long before 

the outdoors are calling her name again ;) 

buddy and i did this short 6 mile hike thursday morning

i have always loved hiking and since moving to washington 

my love for hiking has only grown.

there are so many gorgeous, jaw dropping sights of scenery in this state.

i can't wait to get out there this spring/summer and experience all these hikes!

some more challenging than others.

Skaggit Valley Tulip Festival

this was my first time at the skaggit valley tulip festival

& to be honest

probably my last. haha

the tulips were beautiful but the traffic with one way in and one way out was the most insane 

thing in the world. 

i'm not the greatest at dealing with lots of jammed traffic so it wasn't the most pleasant experience.

however, i did get some pretty pictures out of it

tigard mountain hike

it was a beautiful day for a hike + bike

so jesse hopped on his bike and i hiked up tigard mountain. 

we split ways at the top and met back down at the car
