This past weekend by parents joined Macy in her visit to Jesse and I! Macy came home with us last weekend and stayed all week. My parents drove up on Friday evening and stayed till Monday. We truly enjoyed all of them being here! It was the first time they had seen where we live and our apartment. We had a great time showing them around and visiting with them.
Saturday, we drove into downtown Seattle to walk around Pikes Place.
Although Pikes Place is not my favorite because of this ^ exact reason, my family enjoyed it so it was worth fighting the crowd!
They have been to Seattle before and couldn't be here again without going to Piroshky Piroshky bakery. I have to say, though they were all wonderful, the savory smoked motzerella and mushroom & the smoked salmon pate were my favorites!
This is my favorite part of pikes! Now that I live here, I LOVE that I can get huge beautiful flowers for $5-10.
We couldn't pass the famed gum wall without a picture of course! :)
After strolling around Pikes place we went down to the waterfront and walked the shops.
We stopped at Ivar's Seafood Restaurant for lunch. Their chowder is to die for; SO delicious!
While sitting on the patio next to the ocean a bunch of pirates walked in and put on a show for us. Completely unexpected but totally awesome.
On our way back home we stopped at Golden Gardens Park to show them a beach near our new home.

That's my baby sister ♥
Sunday we went to a new church and then my mom and dad took us out to a lunch of my choice for my birthday that was coming up that week. I'm not going to be able to make it home so our family tradition of mom & dad buying dinner had to happen a little different this year. The things you have to sacrifice and change as you grow up... Due to the lovely rain, we all hung out at our place watching movies the rest of the day.
For my birthday, my parents took me shopping at Hobby Lobby and bought me stuff to help decorate my new little home♥
Sadly we said our goodbyes after that and they headed back home.
