Growing up, my mom was a stay at home mom and my dad ran his own business from home. My mom home-schooled my sister and I from when I was in kindergarten till the 6th grade (my sister the 4th grade). There was a period of time that my dad taught us while my mom helped run his business during the day. I don't think I tell my mom enough how much I appreciate everything she has done and continues to do for me. I remember when my sister and I were younger, my mom and dad would take us on dates once a week and we would switch who went with who each week. I would always hear about how my friends went on field trips and always wanted to go too. My mom made it a priority to make that happen. I can think back to multiple different field trips she took my sister and I on and even with a group of other home-schooled kids sometimes. Her and my dad took me to all my sports practices and never once in my entire life missed a sports game (not including out of state games as I got older. But even those they sometimes made it to). I've made a list of all the words that instantly come to mind when trying to describe my mom

Patient
Loving
Kind-hearted
God serving
Caring
Selfless- the most unselfish person I have ever met in my life
I hear some moms today say they get crap for saying they don't "go" to work. Instead they are stay at home moms. Thinking back to my childhood, these are all the jobs I came up with that my mom did but "didn't have" only because she "didn't go to".
Nurse
Doctor
Care-taker
Teacher
Cheer leader

So thanks mom, for being the best mom all three of us girls could have asked for!
