Homer Alaska for my 21st Birthday

Tuesday July 29th 2014

After getting off work on Tuesday Jesse and I went out to dinner at Princess Lodge for a early birthday dinner. He was suppose to work the next day so I was either going to go out fishing on his boat with him or go hike in Hope. However, after dinner Jesse got a text from his boss saying he had tomorrow off!! So he and I hopped in the car and began driving to Homer.

Our view while having dinner

On our way to Homer we saw a Moose and her two babies! They were right off the side of the road and it was so cool being that close to them:)

Just about 15 miles outside of Homer we saw the most beautiful sunset ever! The whole sky was lit up yellow.

We made it to Homer around 11pm and set up our tent on the beach off the Homer spit.

Seeing this view was so refreshing

21st BIRTHDAY!!!! :) :) :)

Woke up to this.. Best way to get out of bed early! :)

Best little cafe I have ever eaten at. They are getting ready to head to New Orleans for a cooking competition. If you're ever in this area, I highly recommend eating here. Prices aren't bad either.

Hanging out of the beach with my love for a couple hours. No better way to spend part of my birthday!

My acrobat

The first bar I went to.

Anytime I see a dog around I HAVE to go love on it. As I was petting this pretty baby a lady walked by smiling, saying "Ohhh someone is missing their dog back home.." She knew :)
53 more days Buddy!!!

At the tip of the Homer Spit, a four-mile stretch of land that reaches into Kachemak Bay. In all directions the ocean, mountains and glaciers dominate the horizon. Amazing.

Birthday Ice cream!! :)

Homer Brewery

Overlooking the Homer Spit :)

Anchor Point Beach.
I FINALLY found my super sandy and HOT beach! It was literally perfect!

On our way through Soldotna we stopped at Kenai River Brewery and St. Elias Brewery where we also got dinner. After getting back into Cooper Landing we went to Princess Lodge then ended the night at King Fisher. I couldn't have asked for a more awesome birthday. Even though I wasn't with my family or friends back home Jesse did a pretty dang good job at making my special day incredible
