Camping near Waikiki Beach

Friday July 18th 2014

Waikiki is a little beach down on the Kenai Lake where I have been wanting to camp at since we got here. It's a pretty popular place though so when we got there Friday night, it was packed! We drove just past the beach and found a little spot off the road that was like a private beach and set up camp there. 

This was our view all night long ♥

After setting up camp, to our surprise, Corey and Erik (Jesse's bosses) showed up on their boat they just bought and told us to hop in. So we went on an unexpected boat ride across the Kenai Lake :)

It makes me so happy to see him with his Alaska family always smiling, laughing and having a great time.
